Ms. Daniel is a Senior Associate at Casey Denson Law. She is dedicated to protecting the individual rights and liberties guaranteed by the Constitution, and she has years of experience navigating complex legal and ethical issues. She joined Casey Denson Law in 2020. Before joining this firm, Ms. Daniel practiced white-collar criminal defense as an associate attorney at the New Orleans firm of Capitelli & Wicker, where she defended the constitutional and civil rights of individuals before a wide variety of federal, state, and administrative enforcement authorities, including the DOJ, FDIC, SEC, and federal grand jury investigations. Ms. Daniel has also worked as an in-house conflicts attorney for Adams & Reese LLP.

Ms. Daniel graduated from Tulane Law School in 2015. While at Tulane Law, Ms. Daniel was a managing editor of the Tulane Journal of Technology and Intellectual Property and published The Cult of Personality: The Use of Intellectual Property to Protect Publicity Rights in a Digital World. 17 Tul. J. Tech. & Intell. Prop. 275 (2014). During law school, Ms. Daniel also served as a law clerk for the Honorable Fredericka H. Wicker of the Louisiana Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal and worked as a research assistant for Professor Amy Gajda.

Ms. Daniel is admitted to the Louisiana State Bar, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and the United States District Court for the Eastern, Western and Middle District of Louisiana. She is the co-chair of the Plaintiff’s Employment Law Association of Louisiana, a member of the Federal Bar Association, the New Orleans Bar Association, TIME’S UP Legal Defense Fund, and the Louisiana State Bar Association and its Labor and Employment Section. Ms. Daniel was selected by Super Lawyers® as a Rising Star for 2022 and 2023. She also frequently writes about issues arising under federal and state law for employees. Recent publications include the Louisiana Bar Journal, April/May 2023, p. 53 “DOL’s Proposed Regulations on Independent Contractor Classification Under FLSA“ and the Louisiana Association of Justice, June 2023,“FMLA’s Reduction of Required Parental Leave for Spouses with the Same Employer” and in September 2024, “Fifth Circuit flattens long-standing ‘ultimate-employment-decision’ test.”
